Hi All

Some images taken at a local venue, this is another first for me. I just rang the club and asked if they would mind me taking some pictures of the various groups. They were O/K with it if the bands didn’t have any objections. So here are a few from the night.

Hi Mac,
All 3 images have their appeal for different reasons. The 40D has coped very well at 1600 ISO, especially so in the B&W image.
I like the subject's profile in #1, but feel, for me, that I would prefer just a touch more separation between subject and BG.
I think the replication of 'hairstyle' and the OOF guitar, cymbal and mike in the BG of #2 is very well seen and captured. The 'incredible hulk' skintones are perhaps a little offputting. But if that was an effect of the lighting at the time, there's not much you can do.
#3 has a far more soft 'bluesy' feel to it and, again is well captured with good BG lighting.
I'm sure all the subjects portrayed would be delighted with prints. Well done.
