It wasn't as spammy as we have seen before.

The video was worth watching if nothing else to spot the errors when he was trying to justify the ring light- for example do fashion togs really want to be shooting at iso800? (it wasn't a 1 series camera he was using either)

He is promoting a subscription website rather than the ring light which is what studiostyles.net is. Mike Luter seems to work(own?) for this site having looked at some of the free videos on that site.

I quite liked the video...but on here not the best place.I sometimes use my ring flash for portraits, and I get some good results.

Nice light, but I don't like the ring of light in the eyes....but thats just me.....as the ad says.

I have found that with the ring light… that there is no middle ground. People either love the look of the ring light or hate it.

On the 3/4 length portrait the circular catchlight is not so noticeable and works well imho. Maybe using this ring flash in conjunction with other lighting would be cool
