Lovely portrait, what a cutie :)

To be born Welsh is to be born privileged. Not with a silver spoon in your mouth, but music in your blood and poetry in your soul.

She is cute an a lovely picture, but sorry the framing does nothing for me I personally find it detracts from the picture

        Excellent shot

I'd prefer a simple border, but can understand why you've gone for that one.

agree, ditch the border - fancy ones very rarely work

There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is!

It was taken on my old 350D with std. 18-55 mm (at 55mm) with (pop-up) flash iso400 1/60 f5.6
It was at a family get together and I was just taking some candid shots. But Sasha does like her photo taken so tends to pose alot! a model in the making!

Thanks for all the comments. When making a print of this I dont use the border, it's just for show on the web. I think I'll stick with a more simple border next time!

I think you will find that you get a better portrait with a longer lens. For a crop camera something between 85 and 105 is a good length.

I agree Brian, now I have a 60D and have a 24-105 f4L, so should fit the bill. Only had them about a month or so, but not had time to use them much!
