    FAO Celtex (Ian)

Please don't be offended, just trying to help.

Firstly, good on you for getting out there and taking the images, and secondly for letting us critise.....sorry help you constructively.

Have tweeked it a bit, have a look.

Darkened the blown out bit, sharpened and cleaned background.

    Please please don't be offended.

    Hi Glenn,

No worries - that's what I signed up for so to speak!

Like the improved exposure (I did say I think I made this worse in DPP after the event)
Like the cleaned up background, missing flowers - that helps a lot
Cannot tell any difference with regard to sharpenning - looks same to me - my monitor really is rubbish!
Don't like the fuzzy - overly-blurred (IMO) edges of her arms and body as a result (presumably) of painting out the flowers

thanks for taking the time to do this

Hi Ian, didn't sharpen it too much.
Could have used a hard edges tool to sort background out, gives more realistic body lines, but was just showing you what could be done. If this was for a client, would have speant a lot of time sorting the background very carefully.

      All the best

        Hi Glenn,

No worries, really appreciate the tips- wasn't criticising. Had not even occured to me to try to get rid of the flowers

        thanks again

          No worries either Ian.

Would like to be doing more private portraits these days instead of pure press work, but what ever pays the bills.
