corrupted san disk 32 GB card

I recently took approx. 300 photos in RAW) - while downloading via card reader -the file corrupted and was u8nreadable. It showed both on the computer and on the camera that 6GB had been used (and was still there) but I could not open the photos .
Using free recovery software brought zero results. Using Card Recovery Pro gave me 20 photos and despite running it twice - no more

Any ideas how to access the balance of the photos( I am using a 6D)
    thank you,

    Hillel

Sorry hear that. If the Sandisk recovery software cannot retrieve your files, it beats me, sorry.

Did you format the card in-camera before use?

If you have tried all the normal free recovery SW provided by Sandisk the only other options I can think of is to contact Sandisk for advice or take the card to a PC Forensic specialist and by that I mean someone who works in IT Forensics and is not just a PC repair person.

Do not format the card at the moment if want to try and recover the data as this would only make things much harder.

Have you tried putting it back in the camera to see if you can view the pictures on the camera still. If you can, have you then tried downloading via the USB connection on the camera.

You mentioned that you used free recovery software, but was that Sandisc recovery software? If not, that is the one to try.

Did you let the recovery program run until it had finished? I ask because some time ago an acquaintance gave me his 'corrupt' card (can't recall the brand) ... but what I do recall was that RescuePro took rather a long time. The only time I have had a card go bad it took shareware recovery software several days to run (and the card was a modest capacity CF) ... and even then there were a few dozen images (the lowest numbered ones) it just couldn't get back. These were from a weekend in Oslo so I was not happy.

                  All the best, Barn

Re: corrupted san disk 32 GB card

Thanks to Colin - ran ZAR and virtually all photos came back.
However the next card run with a different card reader also corrupted - and ZAR is unable to read it.
I suspect that Canon Zoom Browser is the culprit ! anyone else every have trouble with zoom browser ?

I was also unable to download campicrestor - the site kept trying to download all sorts of junk !
