    Hi Chris
Not a bad effort, looks like your having a good time in Filey, are you there all this week as there's a surf comp taking place this weekend(19/10/13) at cayton bay just out side Filey towards Scarborough.

        Ta for comments.
Paul - dropped in at Filey for morning coffee on the way back to the Midlands from a few days in Scarborough. Weather was glorious so walked along the prom and then put on boots and walked along the beach - spent far longer there than had planned. Quite a few birds (oystercatchers, razorbills - I think) around so popped the 100-400 in the bag for beach walk - sadly too many dogs so birds disappeared so didn't put that lens on, but these RNLI guys swooped in close to us - didn't have time to change lenses or think too much about exposure so this was a quick grab shot with the 24-105 with some cropping.
Sounds a good place for a surf comp.
        Cheers, Chris.

Good catch Chris, lovely light, colours and sharpness.

It looks to me like anyone hanging on to the back of that at that speed would soon become a casualty, if they weren't already!!!

          Regards Paul
