XH558 has sadly made her last public appearance this year.

Anyone planning a visit to see the Vulcan (e.g. Southport 'air show' on the Sunday) she'll not be there:

Anyway the current BBC weather expectation for Sunday on the coast up here is grim.

That would be why her appearance at Bournemouth was cancelled at the last minute then

I'm amazed the old-girl managed what she did this show season; but it's been evident that there's been no flying her any more than was required. Even at Fairford she did not make the expected fly-past before landing on arrival - sadly!

I've seen her twice this year, So I consider myself very lucky.

Yet to see the Vulcan properly and get a decent photo. Seen it in the distance last year, and this year had it fly directly over the block of flats in which I live. I assume it was enroute to Duxford and often see other aircraft to and from there.

Not seen the Vulcan fly for years, last time was its 'last' flight at the Jersey air show many moons ago.
It would be good to see it in action again, hopefully I'll make it to an air show sometime soon.
