    Lancaster

    From Bournemouth Air.

The second shot is from the Saturday where we spent the whole day watching the displays and the first on the Sunday from our beach hut as a few planes flew past en route for the main displays

Very good Stan. Like you say, I don't consider it to be an easy subject. I met a very well respected photography at the same time I was doing the Lancaster, and recently found out he didn't have one keeper and he was shooting at 320/sec. Your first image is very sismiliar to one that I have, only yours has the landinding gear down.

I dont think I have ever got a shot of it that i am really happy with. At Bournemouth the best shots are when it is banking in the east and the sun catches the top of the wings and really brings out the colours and I was going to say because of the distance, with the 70-200 and converter, it was just too far away and then I had a look at Dees shots and just found this one - she was using her 300 f4 and converter so got a bit nearer

              Nice shots Stan,

I like the last one best, always good to see the tops of the Wings and a bit of colour.

For anyone close enough to RAF Coningsby, this coming Sunday is the Lincolnshire Lancaster Association Day at the BBMF and it is the last day of the Seasons flying, most if not all of the Aircraft will be flying and they really do put on a Spirited show.

              Regards Paul

I think they are all good, but the last one stands out for me.
