I had to clean my glasses and rub my eyes when I saw No 1.
I too like it.
Love the smoke trail in #2, superb

Number one reminds me of a watercolour painting.

As for Waddington... I'm hoping to attend, but if all else fails, I'll go to Cleethorpe's Air show. Red arrows are there. :o)
