Super shots. Is that the actual colour of the sky or have you cranked it up? I think it adds to the challenge when you have a subject that you shoot regularly, trying to add variety to it.

Planes aren't really my thing but appreciate the skill you've shown here. These are really nice and like the final 2 and last one in particular.

                          Hi Paul

Great set as usual not easy to get the right exposure in such bright light (better than mine?)
I was there that day (Tue 17th?)last minute decision so couldn't really let you know Sorry, did look for your car though when i was on the hill.

                              Hi All,

thanks very much for the encouraging comments. Paul (Planetc) in regard to the sky, this is an effect I like and when trying to get a get a high speed such as 1/2000th or even 1/1600th as I move round the sky shots often come out as what at first glance look underexposed. I have found though that with the Typhoon being light grey that some increase of Highlights and Lights in Lightroom makes the Jet pop out from the sky background. When I slow the speed down I suffer from out of focus shots exposed correctly in theory, so I guess I do what seems to work for me. I also often add some negative Luminance of the Blue which does darken it and some Contrast.

Hope that makes sense and haven't broken too many rules of Photography

                              Regards Paul
