    Flying home - End of an Era

    Im led to believe that the last flying Vulcan Bomber has run out of people who can maintain its airworthiness - a great shame. It has the unusual ability to combine beauty & powerful threat all in one vey simple shape.

                        Sad day when the wind stops flowing over her wings - an end to a great piece of British aviation history.

                        I don't think there's a more photogenic paraffin parrot, than the Vulcan. I should mention - next weekend the LMA are at Elvington and the tin triangle will be there - Sunday should be a bit special.....nuff said!
