B & W Conversion software

Hi everyone! I did put the same item on a different thread when I think I should have put it here.
Question is this, what is a good software to do B&W conversions? Silver Efex Pro has been recommended and also Powerretouche. Does anyone have any thoughts on these or indeed any other software? I do have LR3 and PSE7 so do I need anything else anyway? Cheers.

You can also use DPP to do some basic conversion

If I do B&W conversions I either use LR2.6 or PSE8 I know you cabn also use DPP but I personally have never really played with that as I have been using the other tools and am too lazy to learn a 3rd

I have used Powerretouche for several years and find it very good for the money. It is convenient to use and offers a lot of control in an easy to use interface. I have not used PSE since version 2, so I am not privy to what it can and can not do compared to Photoshop. I would suggest downloading the free demo and try it out and decide for yourself.
